Everybody on the Bus!

Well the last month has been quite crazy!  I’m deep in the midst of editing Festival Express, the music video I shot with Useful Jenkins while at Wookiefoot’s Shangri-La Festival last month.  The music video shoot was a crazy, intense, and amazing experience.  We raised the budget for the shoot successfully via Kickstarter, so I really feel the pressure to produce a great product for the band and the fans.  We tried to capture some of the essence of Harmony Park in this video, hopefully you’ll see it sometime in November!

Shangri-La was quite busy this year, in addition to the music video, I partnered with Tim McGuire of Helium Dolphin Video to record and produce some Wookiefoot performance video, along with a quality audio recording mastered and produced by Mark Murphy of Wookiefoot.  Sometime in the near future we’ll be working with Mark to edit and release this video along with the high quality audio recording that Mark is working on.  Murphy’s Youtube Channel is the most likely destination for this content, look for it sometime in the next year!

Next week I’ll be partnering again with Tim to travel down to Ozark, Arkansas for Yonder Mountain String Band’s Harvest Music Festival.  We’ll be shooting pictures and video as members of the media for the weekend.  We’re also hoping to get some great behind the scenes footage as well as interviews with some of the acts appearing over the weekend.  Yonder Mountain, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Les Claypool’s Duo de Twang, Railroad Earth, Beats Antique, Elephant Revival and of course, Useful Jenkins are among some of the many acts that will be appearing.  I’ll be posting daily updates to the blog while we’re on our Ozark adventure next week, so stay tuned!
